Join us THIS Sunday, November 20th, between the services
as we celebrate Christ the King Sunday !
(It’s the New Year’s Eve of the church year)
We will have combined Sunday School (kids and adults)
with a discussion of the Advent Season and Advent Wreath making.
Our ECW is sponsoring this wonderful
wreath making workshop for all, families and friends.

ALMOST all supplies and instruction are provided.

Do you have a favorite greenery you would like to use or share ?
Holly, fir…     juniper ? Magnolia ? Eucalyptus !!!   Special ribbons ? anything to make our wreaths amazing…   Bring a batch to use and share

THANKSGIVING BY-THE-SEA

Join us Thursday, November 24th for Thanksgiving by-the Sea

Greet & Gather at 11am    Dine Noon – 1pm

We’re providing the turkey; bring your favorite side* and beverage of choice.
(we’ll have tea and coffee)

This is always a wonderful way to gather with your church family and friends and a great time is always had by all.
Bring a friend or two. All are welcome.

The Salvation Army needs volunteers. for their cold weather shelter.
Our outreach coordinator Jan Shook reports from their inaugural
opening last night that their new facility awesome !

THE SEASON OF GIVING IS HERE !

ANGEL TREE
Every year we adopt children (and yes, Moms also)
from the Gulf Coast shelter for nonviolence.
These families are currently staying in the shelter
or have passed through the shelter recently and are setting up their new households.


Please consider adopting an “Angel”.
Tags are located on our tree in the Narthex.

Be sure to sign for your angel and attach the tag to the new,
unwrapped
 gifts when you return them to the church
no later than Sunday, December 11th.

CAMPING FOR HOPE
December 3rd

 We are helping gather supplies for Camping for Hope.
These supplies will prepare Coast homeless for winter.
Heavy coats (new or gently used)
Blankets, tents, sleeping bags
Camp stoves
Thermal underwear
AA, C & D batteries

Please deliver your donation to GCBFS or call for a pick-up before November 30th.
