St. Peter’s by-the-Sea has a long history of active participation in our community. As a downtown church who understands the nature of Christ’s command to be in this world, we support a number of local ministries that help feed, clothe and minister to those in need. We believe the church must exist outside her walls.
November 9th’s Service will honor the volunteer teams that serve GCCM, Rebekah’s House, the Clothing Drive, Angel Tree and Center for Non-violence.
We support Rebecca’s House, a transitional shelter for families, collect food for the pantry at Gulf Coast Community Ministries and provide new 6x girls clothing once a quarter for the Harrison County Children’s Shelter. Our Angel Tree program provides Christmas presents for those referred to us through the Women’s Center for Non-violence Shelter.
