For those of you who are curious, Cursillo is a worldwide movement of the Christian Church. The movement began in the 1940s and remains a vibrant movement today!
It begins with a three-day Cursillo weekend (Thursday evening-Sunday afternoon) that provides a living experience – meeting Christ, meeting fellow Christians and experiencing how they live. It’s a joyful, fun-filled experience.
The Cursillo method described during the weekend provides a means to continue the Christian growth after the weekend. The resulting Christian community is a group of men and women who live the Christian life, linked together in Christ, and are supported in their environment.

EFM is a four year course offered by Sewanee. Participants engage in study, prayer and reflection despite the attendance of students at different stages in each class. There is always a connection to each through the lessons that makes it easy for all levels to engage in discussion.
