Have you ever wondered what the difference between the 8 am service and the 10:30 am service ?
Is it just the music ?
Is 8 am just for early birds ?
Is 10:30 am for those with kids ?
Join us for this service to see what it’s all about. (Hint: it’s none of the above)
It’s all about the Liturgy!

We will be thanking all of those Rite I Lectors, the servers and the ushers who faithful serve this early service as well as those devoted attendees who love the tradition language the Rite I service offers.

Lectors are members of the congregation who participate in the reading of the lessons at the Sunday morning services and at other special services. More commonly referred to as “Chalice Bearers”, the servers are laypersons authorized to administer the consecrated elements at a celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Confirmed communicants 18 years and older and in good standing may be licensed by the diocese to serve as Eucharistic ministers. In addition, they participate in bearing the Gospel and assisting at the altar. The Eucharistic ministers work closely with the acolytes, vergers and clergy to ensure that all parts of each service run smoothly. They serve at the Sunday morning services and at other special services during the year. Ushers and greeters welcome all who attend services and hand out service programs and announcements. Offering assistance with the offertory, managing communion lines, and bearing the oblations for communion. All ages are welcome to serve.

Contact the church office if you’re
interested in reading, servinging, greeting or ushering.
